Well Mr. Groundhog thinks we have more winter to come. This coming weekend is the annual Minneapolis Camping show. We will not be attending the show this year, but instead are planning a big “Timberline Open House” on April 1st. This will be a great time to bring your friends who may be considering a seasonal site here and introduce them to us. We can show them what is available and they can also witness the friendliness of all the Timberline family. We will have food and refreshments available and maybe a few surprises along the way. Keep that date open for sure. We will let you know the times in a few weeks. I’m sure more than a few of you will be looking to upgrade your campers. One thing to consider when choosing a new camper from a dealer is ask them about their service after you purchase. After dealer set up there is usually at least 4 hours of warranty work once the camper is set up on your site. Make sure the dealer is willing and able to come out to the park to fix warranty problems.
The events schedule is about 90 percent complete. Please check our website, www.timberlinervrsort.com for dates. We may add more events down the road depending on participation and volunteer help. The events we put on are like no other you will find at any campground, period! Our Halloween weekend is already full!
I will be making my 4th trip to Alaska this year to see my son Nathan off on his quest to race the 2017 Iditarod. You can follow him on the live tracking on the Iditarod website. I know a lot of you follow him and also help sponsor his team. It is greatly appreciated!
Lets hope for an early spring. We have a lot of additions and improvements we want to get done around here before or soon after we open.
See you soon, stay healthy everyone!
