Sixty degree weather and rain……. in February???? It looks as though it is going to change. More snow and high winds predicted for the coming week. Oh well it is Minnesota, but……, we are getting closer to opening day at Timberline!
Make sure you mark your calendar for Saturday April 1st for our big “Open House”. Hours will be from noon to 4:00 pm. Make sure you bring your friends and show them what a great place we have here! Hopefully we still have some sites left by then. We’ve rented out 3 more just this week, so don’t miss out on being at the best campground around! We will have food and refreshments here for you plus some door prizes and maybe a few other surprises too! Weather and roads permitting you may be able to drive back to your sites. ( I’m sure many of you are concerned if there has been any rodent activity) We will let you know for sure when we get closer to the date. Also, we have a very limited number of transient/overnight sites available this season. If your family or friends want to spend time with us and be a part of some awesome events have them get their reservations in now.
Cindy and I just returned from a week in the sun in Florida. We toured a few RV parks and also some 55+ mobile communities. We have 200 sites here at Timberline. If this was a typical park in Florida there would be over 1,000 sites in a park of the same size. They really cram them in!! Speaking of Florida, we stopped into the Minnesota Twins spring training facility and we ran into one of our seasonal campers. Roger Krumsieg winters down there and we almost walked into each other!
Before our trip we saw Tracy Isakson who is in the process of kicking cancers butt! Tracy you looked absolutely wonderful. Another seasonal, Bob Stemper has been battling some health issues. Please keep these two in your thoughts and prayers. If there are any of our Timberline family in need of some prayers please let us know! Our Timberline family means the world to us.
Well let’s all think spring as we are eager to get going on another tremendous camping season. Take care everyone.
